The mandap or ‘manavarai’ as it is known in South Indian Weddings, is simply a temporary four-poster structure with a canopy that forms the sacred space for traditional Hindu weddings. Traditionally, the manavarai is designed using organic pillars made of wood, bamboo, sugarcane or young banana stems. Stacks of pots are placed near the pillars and the top of the manavarai is covered in a red or gold canopy. A Hindu wedding comprises of the bride and groom taking rounds of the sacred fire, promising each other the sacred vows. We will provide full mandap setup (as shown in pic) –Full Manvarai structure as in pic, you can add up a welcome gate, 6 Small Fiber Pillars + 6 small fiber Statues (option available – Ganesha/Diyaladies/Flower-pots) for Walkway Decoration, Six mandap chairs or (option available – wedding sofa) for seating purpose on mandap ceremony, Backdrop curtains 10 x 30 feet, Havan Kund/firebox, Carpet for mandap and walkway area.
Another option for making manavrai stage cum mandap is also available as in pic. This setup includes – Two Fiber Pillars with arc and crown (in the middle), Two Fiber Pillars with arc and crown (on both side), Peacock statues, Two small pillars with ganpati statues on stage.
